Activism: An Introduction to Creating Change was a 3 day online festival put together by RRR and our friends at Making the Future, exploring activism and what it takes to create change.

We heard from activists Ruth McCarthy, Artistic Director Outburst Arts, Lucie Cullinane, Rape Crisis and Emma Campbell, Array Studios and Alliance4Choice

During the festival Jacky Sheridan, Usfolk and Illustrators Ireland, led a series of workshops on designing and printing activist slogans. Participants were tasked with creating their own activist images on issues that resonated with them. Participants designed their own poster and badge templates and these were then printed and posted to them

Making the Future

This programme was delivered in collaboration with the Making the Future project, a cross-border cultural programme which empowers people to use museum collections and archives to explore the past and create a powerful vision for future change.
