Online Creative Writing and Audio/Video Editing Programme for 16-25 year olds based in Northern Ireland.

Fancy yourself as a bit of a poet? What about a filmmaker? Collector or curator? If you want to explore collections while getting creative with writing and audio or video editing, this is the programme for you.

In this free online 5 week course, you will get to explore the depths of Northern Irish museum collections and Northern Ireland Screen’s Digital Film Archive. With this historical and inspiring material, you’ll write, edit and record your own poems using both written and visual elements. Illuminate the stories of these archives or create your own new narratives for collections!

You’ll be guided by poets, museum curators and RRR staff through creative and technical processes and be shown how to use free mobile editing software to create and platform your writing.

At the end of the programme, your pieces will be showcased in a collaborative and creative way both online and in person.
