It’s pride week 2022 and what better way to kick it off than to have the amazing Kit Rees lead a merry troop of participants through a fab making session of pride themed accessories in the Ulster Museum.
On Saturday 23rd July we got in the mood for pride by creating some of the most creative, out and proud laser cut slogan glasses, tote bags and earrings you could imagine.
Using the latest in digital fabrication techniques the group created light up Slogan glasses and Perspex earrings as well as bespoke vinyl printed tote bags. Our proud participants were taught how to use Procreate for the iPad to draw their designs, how to prepare them for print in Adobe Illustrator and how to send them to be printed in the laser cutter.
The whole gang can now wear their makes with pride at the official Belfast Pride parade this Saturday.
